Suppose you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the Hanoi capital or want to explore more tourist attractions near Hanoi for relaxing weekends. In that case, these five tourist destinations are ideal for you.

1. Halong Bay

About 150km from Hanoi lies Ha Long Bay; a small bay in the western part of the Gulf of Tonkin in the Northeast Vietnam Sea. Halong Bay is famous for its thousands of majestic and magical islands. and it has been recognized by UNESCO many times as a natural heritage of the world.

Coming to Halong Bay, you can admire the beautiful scenery of nature and enjoy the famous delicious seafood dishes such as sausage, Ha Long squid cake. In addition, Halong Bay is famous for its beautiful beaches and attractive tourist entertainment areas. In Halong Bay, you can also explore the bay by boat, helicopter, or seaplane. Alternatively, you can book a boat to rest overnight on the bay.

2. Sa Pa

One of the tourist destinations near Hanoi that you cannot ignore is Sa Pa town. Sa Pa has a cool climate all year round. Nature gives Sa Pa a picturesque landscape that is romantic and intimate, along with terraced rice fields as well as eye-catching and friendly people.

On arrival in Sa Pa, you will discover a unique cultural space bearing national identity, along with many tourist attractions. You can set out to conquer the Fansipan peak – the roof of Indochina with a height of 3,143m. 3. Tam Dao

Tam Dao is about 80km from Hanoi city. The pleasant climate is the most prominent point here. Located on a high terrain area with a cool climate, Tam Dao is considered a fairyland with clouds covering all year round.

Tam Dao was discovered and renovated by the French in the late nineteenth century. Therefore, many buildings here follow a European style. Tam Dao is very suitable for vacation trips with family and friends. There are many attractive entertainment places, such as Tam Dao stone church, heaven gate, or the Silver Waterfall. The remarkable thing is that you can enjoy many delicious snacks at Tam Dao night market.

4. Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh is about 90km south of Hanoi and you can easily get there by any means. Ninh Binh is known as the ancient capital and is a famous tourist destination in Vietnam.

Ninh Binh has many famous sights, including some places such as Trang An, Tam Coc – Bich Dong, and the Bai Dinh pagoda.

5. Moc Chau

The Moc Chau Plateau is located nearly 200km northwest of Hanoi. Moc Chau is situated at an altitude of 1050m above sea level, so the climate here is always mild, averaging a temperature of about 20ÂșC; a feature that attracts tourists to this plateau. Moc Chau is also a favorite place for those who like to travel.

Coming to Moc Chau, you will have the opportunity to learn about many cultural identities with diverse ethnic groups living together. Festivals, customs, and folk culture are also attractive to tourists here.
